Background

Cimarron Mortgage Company, a locally owned business located in Jackson, Mississippi, began operating in June, 1993 as a loan servicing company with an initial portfolio of 500 loans and a staff of 3.5 employees. In 1994, Cimarron expanded its operations with the addition of the Correspondent Department. The Correspondent Department is responsible for purchasing loans to sell into the secondary market. The Servicing Department is responsible for administering the terms of the mortgage contract on behalf of the owner of the loan. Cimarron Mortgage Company is an approved mortgage seller/servicer for FNMA, GNMA, FHLMC, and HUD.
